OUR FIRST PUBLIC MEETING post-COVID isolation.
Jill Barker will share information about the Japanese House in New Farm. This remarkable residence was pre-fabricated in Japan in 1886 and re-erected in New Farm (see “From Japan to New Farm”, May newsletter).
I am sure that you will want to hear more about this interesting topic — HOWEVER, it will be different!
Only 40 people will be able to attend the meeting at the hall.
They will need to book ahead, and it is primarily for those unable to link-in via computer/tablet/phone/smart TV. In order to attend, please phone Desley on 0409 498 403 or email drgarn@bigpond.net.au to book your seat.
This meeting will be videoed, so that those at home will be able to see it in real time (or later if they wish). The August newsletter has more info about how to book your place at the hall and the procedures that will need to be observed.
