OVER 110 people attended the year’s first meeting of the New Farm & Districts Historical Society on Saturday 24 February. Guest speaker Wal Bishop, grandson of the founder of this famous Brisbane jewellery firm, and ably assisted by his daughter Virginia, had the audience enthralled.
